VSPDT member Cara Shannon of Buddy’s Chance in Austin, TX has extended an exclusive $100 discount to all VSPDT members who mention their VSPDT status when applying for the FAR Beyond Dog Training Experts licensing program.

The team of FAR Beyond Dog Training Experts is an elite group of behavior experts who have both experience and training in applying the FAR Beyond Training Method to dogs with fear, aggression, and reactivity issues. The FAR Beyond Training Method is based on force-free, scientific methods that help dogs succeed safely and effectively.

Trainers go through a rigid screening process, first submitting a written application and then, if approved, attending a week long in-person training session. The week-long session includes hands-on sessions with dogs and their owners as well as classroom time. To succeed in this program, trainers must already have a solid understanding of learning theory and the ethology of dogs and must not be a beginner level trainer.

After being admitted to the Team, the trainers are given curriculum materials, access to marketing materials, and are included in our nationwide listing of FAR Beyond Dog Training Experts.

VSPDT Trainers will be given a $100 reduction in the cost of the licensing program.

Our next training week will take place February 3-10, 2013 and we are currently accepting applications for space at this time. Spaces are limited to 6 attendees to maximize this intensive learning experience!
